A direct flight from Nairobi, and a total change of scene. That is why we sell more of these than any other island.
Mahe has the airport and the mountains. Praslin has Anse Lazio and the coco de mer forest of the Vallee de Mai. La Digue is bicycles and Anse Source d’Argent, and it is the one most people remember.
Fast ferries connect all three, so five to seven nights covers two islands properly. Self catering and guest houses on La Digue and Praslin cost a fraction of the resorts on Mahe.
April to May and October to November are the changeover months between trade winds, with the calmest seas and the clearest water for snorkelling.

Travel and access
Direct flights operate between Nairobi and Mahe, which makes the safari combination straightforward.
Visitor permits are issued on arrival for most nationalities, subject to onward travel and accommodation proof.
Ferries should be booked in advance in high season.
How we handle this destination
We quote the Seychelles to order, usually as an extension to a safari.
Self catering on La Digue is far cheaper than a Mahe resort, and often more enjoyable.
Allow at least five nights to make the flight worthwhile.

We do not publish a rate card for the Seychelles because the prices move by season and by availability, and a number on a page that we cannot hold is not useful to you. Send us your dates, your group and a rough budget, and we will come back with named properties, a routing and a total. For destinations outside our own operating area we work with vetted local operators, and we will tell you when that is the case.
