Gardens by the Bay, the zoo and night safari, hawker centres, Chinatown and Little India. Everything works, distances are short, and three nights is genuinely enough.

At its best as the start or finish of a longer Asia trip, rather than a destination on its own.
Gardens by the Bay in the late afternoon into the light show, the Cloud Forest dome, and the Supertrees. Then hawker food, which is the main reason to stay an extra night.
The zoo’s night safari circuit is one of the better wildlife attractions in Asia and suits families. Sentosa, the aquarium and Universal fill a full day with children.
The weather is much the same all year, so timing matters far less here than anywhere else we arrange. February to April is marginally drier.
